Tradition at Saint-Jean de Beauregard
The Perennial Plant Fair at Saint-Jean de Beauregard offers an excellent opportunity to increase one’s familiarity with plants. To encourage nurserymen and growers in their creativity and their search for rare or little-known plants and to help them promote and distribute them, trophies are awarded each year in a range of different plant categories by an international panel of judges. Saint-Jean de Beauregard’s Plant Fair is particularly appreciated for its specialising in perennials and rare vegetables, its XVIIth century kitchen garden which serves as both setting and breeding laboratory for its plants, and the countryside family ambience of the events. The exhibitors are craftsmen passionate about gardens who simply share with visitors their love of beautiful plants and other things. Other than during the Plant Fair, the estate is open to visitors on Sundays and public holidays between 15 March and 15 November, from 14.00 to 18.00.
