Courson, forerunner of horticultural trends
Courson’s Plant Days are an event open to the general public that has been held for over 25 years in the prestigious setting of the Domaine de Courson just 30 km from Paris.
Over three days (Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday), twice a year, in spring and autumn, exhibitors from all branches of horticulture, as well as from crafts and arts connected with gardens and gardening, present their traditional savoir-faire and their latest products.
240 exhibitors from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Great Britain and of course all parts of France, all of them rigorously selected for the quality and originality of their creations, subscribe to a charter which guarantees the quality of their plants and other products.
Visitors will find the latest in garden designs and the latest intelligent tools which bring a real pleasure to gardening, outdoor clothing for confronting all kinds of weather, and the opportunity to attend talks providing interesting information and advice.
The Mérites de Courson are awards presented by a panel of professional experts, and this quest for excellence is particularly appreciated by the visiting public.
Other than during the Plant Days, the grounds are open to visitors on Sundays and public holidays throughout the year, from 10.00 to 18.00 (17.00 in winter).
