Evry, at the crossroads of religions

Locate on the map

Evry and its immediate surroundings has a rich and varied heritage of religious architecture: the cathedral of the Resurrection, the only cathedral to have been built in France in the XXth century, the mosque in Courcouronnes, which is one of the largest mosques in Western Europe, and the future Khanh-Anh pagoda which will be the largest in Europe (3000 m²) and will house a bronze statue of the Buddha 4 metres tall and weighing 5 tonnes.
All three of these buildings are worthy of a detour.
Loisirs Accueil Essonne offers an interfaith trail for groups.
