Eglise Saint-Sulpice, Favières
Already famous for its pilgrimage, this little village was enriched, during the reign of Saint Louis, by the construction of a sanctuary of cathedral-like dimensions which is, perhaps, the "finest village church in France".
This building, with its uncommonly great luminosity, boasts magnificent XIIIth century stained-glass windows.
