Domaine Départemental de Chamarande
The departmentally-owned Chamarande estate is a place for strolls, recreation, exhibitions and exploration of the unique gardens in the Essonne. A multi-disciplinary programme of cultural events, including dance, music, storytelling and open-air cinema, means that the 98 hectares of grounds and the Louis XIII château are buzzing all year and offers a host of opportunities to see the estate in a new light.
Guided tours for individual visitors: 1st May to 30th September, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 15.00 (château and grounds). Assemble in the courtyard.
Guided tours: all year round by prior booking for groups.

Grounds: unescorted access to the grounds, November to January 9.00 to 17.00. February, March and October 9.00 to 18.00. April and May 9.00 to 19.00. June to September 9.00 to 20.00.Château: March to October 12.00 to 19.00, exhibition of contemporary art in the galleries.
